Traffic is already bad in banning and beaumont. We moved to the pass area 5 years ago to escape the traffic, now its almost just as bad here. We will be moving if this project is approved.

This proposed project is such a bad idea! Leave the BANNING BENCH as it is.

Okay, have we completely lost our minds, City of Banning? I’m not exaggerating when I say I genuinely thought Atwell would actually help our city—maybe bring in a decent store, a fun place for my kids to enjoy, something that adds value. But the truth is, all it’s doing is tearing our city apart. Crime is increasing, traffic on Highland Springs is a nightmare, stores are packed to the brim, and don’t even get me started on the empty buildings everywhere—it’s ridiculous. And let’s not forget, the Bench is in a high fire danger zone. Are we seriously risking lives like this? I’m being completely honest: the Bench does not deserve this, not one bit. This is heartbreaking, infuriating, and utterly preventable. F*** you, City of Banning!

Please save the rural bench where we share the land with bears, owls, deer, Bobcats, and many diverse species.

The current infrastructure does not support another 2000+ homes. Preserve the natural environment.

C'mon Banning!! Leave this place alone and lets fix up the existing buildings n the city. Let's actually be business friendly so we can get businesses to want to come here. We have the population, lets get another grocery store, more restaurants, how about another shopping center. Lets keep business in Banning. Right now we all go to other cities.

The Banning Bench should be protected and reserved for custom houses, bought and built by real people, not mega corporations.

I agree with the other comment form David ballou. City of Banning, what are you thinking? Resident cant even get out when there is a fire is. Imagine with approx 7000 cars? We DONT want the Bench to be the NEW PALISADES!!!

I just have to ask—what the hell is wrong with the City of Banning? Why would anyone even consider this? What is the point of ruining this land? I visit twice a year—though I live in Oklahoma now, Banning is my hometown and my family is still there. Whenever I’m back, I make it a priority to drive on the bench because it’s absolutely beautiful: the Water Canyon, the horses grazing, the fields, the cows… all of it. City of Banning, why are you doing this? It’s devastating.

I'm all for growing our city and generating revenue etc. That said, this is not the place to do this. This whole cities development style is ass backwards. Loma Linda signed an agreement to not build in that area and preserve the environment..........

This will also cause overcrowding in our schools. This small town is not equipped for this.
