As a former victim of abuse at the hands of a soldier relative, I must say I support this 100%! Much love!

Where are your peer reviewed articles to back up your claims on this petition?
Are you making this petition solely based on ONE family that you just happened to run across?
Child abuse happens EVERYWHERE, EVERY DAY. It is sad, disdainful, painful, disgusting, unrelenting; but above all it is REAL. To call out MILITARY members ONLY is disturbing.
They keep you safe. They step up to watch and endure horrors that you don't. These horror provide a safe warm home and food for their families all while taking them from their family for days, weeks, months, YEARS on end.
These periods of time away, especially in the Vietnam era and today result in what is known as PTSD. PTSD can be hard to diagnose as it can be slow in it's progression and people are scared of its stigma that comes with the diagnosis. PTSD CAN and MAY be related to abuse. But there IS help.
To take a family away and put children in foster care is NOT the answer. Treating our military personnel when signs become apparent that help is needed and warranted, is.
Get off your high horse and start reading and researching PEER REVIEWED ARTICLES, JOURNALS, ETC.

Whoever made this up, and it's "signers" are all uneducated morons...or the few people that actually may have been abused...Just because a few have, doesn't mean you should disrespect a whole mass of people, who are braver than you who just sit behind a computer trying to ruin people's lives. Go get lives, and maybe instead of sitting behind a computer, work at a orphanage, fostor care, homeless shelters, etc where children ACTUALLY need help. Now.
