I am strongly opposed to a facility of this nature being built so close to neighborhoods. This type of business belongs far from where residents are affected by the noise and pollution. I am also disappointed that the City of Escondido did not require an environmental impact report as part of a proposal that would irrevocably damage the surrounding area.

I strongly oppose. The proposed area is residential. Please relocate to an area where residents won't be affected.

There is plenty of non-residential land for the facility. It poses a traffic problem for the residents and schools/park. More important, it will impact the property value and quality of life for the surrounding residents.

Please oppose this facility. It will negatively effect homeowners in our community.

I live in Emerald heights. I'm very concerned about increase fire risk that directly impacts me and my family. I'm concerned about increased heavy truck traffic on the secondary roads frequented by cyclists. Too close to residents! Needs to go somewhere else.

Keep property values high and a residential community whole by not building the recycling plant. The increase of industrial noise, traffic, and other negative factors are not acceptable. Relocate the plan near the existing Escondido industrial areas.

Our home backs up to mesa rock on the other side of the proposed site. After 20 years we do not need the noise and proposed bad air quality

Environmental hazard, health issues for those with lung disease and fire hazard with wood chips spontaneously igniting. Not a smart decision to have this near our homes.

What was once a rural area fit for industrial zoning is no longer the case, in fact general plans and current development in the area are mostly residential bringing more people to the community that could be impacted. Stick this plant in Lakeside somewhere or Otay, find a better solution

This is not the neighborhood for this. Please retain the beauty and peace of our north county inland residential areas.
