I appose for the following reasons:
* Noise, dust, pollution and health impacts from concrete crushing and grinding six days a week, including the detrimental effect on health caused by silica dust (silicosis)
* Blasting with bulk industrial explosive, 2.5 tons per detonation, 132 times, to excavate 245,000 cubic yards of rock for roadway and site preparation
* Potential fire hazard from combustible piles of wood debris/ chips and fire spreading rapidly toward residential communities during Santa Ana winds events
* Noise, dust, and safety hazard from big haul trucks on local streets
* No Site-Specific Environmental Impact Report provided for this project.
* Lack of automated monitoring – neighbors have to monitor for violations.

The noise, dust, pollution and fire hazard will have a significantly negative impact on our property values. The ultimate impact to the city and county will be to lose property tax and sales tax revenue. I am in STRONG opposition to this project.

Due to the nature of the surrounding area, noise travels for miles. I am in Emerald Heights and hear traffic noise from the 15. We are also in a wind tunnel, so smells and harmful airborne byproduct will effect the health of many. Please consider if you would like this near your residence!

Please don’t let this project to ruin the wellbeing of our community. There must be plenty of other places where they wouldn’t impact residential areas.

Do not allow this industrial plant in our residential zone. What was to be a nursery is now wanting to be a concrete crushing recycling plant. This should never be allowed.

Our community is so idyllic, but it’s all to easy to imagine what 132 industrial explosive detonations will feel like, followed by a lifetime of cement grinding noise six days a week, 12 hours a day, worrying about silicosis (a lung disease) every time there’s a dusting of something on the car windshield. Fires, noise, health impacts, environmental impacts – all make this the worst possible place to put a cement crushing facility – a mere ½ mile from our homes!
Please stop this
