I am very concerned about the amount and the type of dust that is going to be released in to the environment. I also live close to the the site of this development, and I know that depending on the wind, I will be breathing the polluted dust.

How the County can waive the EIR on this project defies logic. The people of our neighborhoods are simply collateral damage. Something is really wrong here.

Do not build this in my backyard- not something that should be so close to residential neighborhoods!

A little history on the owner for everyone to read
If Arie Eric De Jong III, thought writing a hefty check to pay off his fines for illegal waste dumping would satisfy courts after pleading guilty last year to felony charges, he was mistaken.
Last week De Jong, owner of Diamond Environmental Services based in San Marcos, California, was ordered to report to federal prison on July 6 to begin a five-month sentence. He also will be required to pay a $15,000 fine and serve three years’ probation.
De Jong’s charges are related to several years of illegal dumping of septic waste directly into municipal sewer systems in several Southern California cities, avoiding millions of dollars in disposal fees at designated dumping facilities.
The company’s chief operating officer, Warren Van Damn, also admitted to the illegal dumping charges and received five years’ probation and 250 hours of community service.
The company also pleaded guilty in the case and was sentenced to five years’ probation. The three defendants combined were ordered to pay a fine of $2.64 million, as well as $2.25 million in restitution to five different sanitation agencies. The company also forfeited $2.2 million in illegal profits.

Deny the approval of the Mesa Rock Concrete Crushing facility. I am a resident of one of the communities that will be impacted.

This facility does not belong any where near (less than 25 miles) the now settled residential communities in Escondido. Those who are compelled to work from home; those children who are stuck at home taking classes via ZOOM this school year; as well as retirees who need fresh air to breath in order to survive this COVID 19 pandemic's second wave; all can not tolerate this rock crushing facility at this location. Go 25 miles or more away from our residences in Escondido. Prudently do your civic duty and take responsibility. No rock crushing facility.Thank you.

This crushing can cause long term bacterial infection, sinus problems and more. I know from personal experience. Not to mention the noise from the blasting and crushing; also from personal experience.

I’m dealing with the construction noise and dust on the Escondido Country Club golf club property now. It can only be wore at a rock crushing facility. I used to cycle off Twin Oaks near a crushing site and the trucks were constantly going up and down the two lane road. Not safe for bikers or cars and very noisy.
