Stop Massive Skyscrapers in our Neighborhood!

Please stop new skyscraper buildings in NYC.

These massive skyscrapers will further drain the already stretched to the limit resources in our neighborhood

This must stop!! There are already too many people vying for services! Schools are overcrowded. Stores are overcrowded. Buses are overcrowded. There is almost no parking for those of us who already live here. Cabs are hard to find. The construction of these monster buildings HAS TO STOP.

STOP BUILDING APT BUILDINGS TALLER THAN 30 STORIES IN THIS NEIGHBORHOOD

The impact of these huge buildings is a reduction of quality of life for the residents of these neighborhoods. And eventually results in a reduction of their property value. Because of the lack of zoning East of 3rd Avenue, they create a new kind of ghetto out of an old and beautiful neighborhood.

The Upper East Side is already a very congested area to live. The skyscraper being planned across from our coop between 79th and 80th Street on 1st Avenue will cause major disruptions to our bus stops, traffic, parking stops which are already limited, and probably safety problems from huge cranes, etc. These are just a few problems I have named and this is just the tip of the iceberg, we need stores not high rise buildings for multi millionaires.

Please adopt some reasonable zoning limitations so that we don't end up living in the bottom of a dark pit! The area's infrastructure can't support all of the massive development.

Nobody except the real estate people want this. It's all about $$. Taxes too high, buildings too high.

The outrageous heights on apartment buildings being allowed in New York City are blocking out light and causing major congestion in neighborhoods. It has to be stopped!!!

Parks are put in shadow, the character of neighborhoods is lost and affordable housing is destroyed to build unneeded and extremely expensive replacements.

WE SIMPLY DON'T HAVE ROOM FOR THE AMOUNT OF PEOPLE THEY WANT TO ADD TO THE ALREADY CROWDED SIDEWALKS, AND STREETS. The traffic is already a nightmare, This is a neighborhood, NOT Times Square!

Please stop hurting the air space with skyscrapers and other tall buildings which will affect the livelihood of the NYC residents and visitors.

Excessively tall buIlding need to be curtailed. They change th character of the neighborhood, increase population density beyond what schools, parking, and city services can accommodate. These include policing, subway and bus, and garbage service. Please create a more transparent procedure and limit new construction to about 250 feet. Thank you
