The law is finally changing to prevent marriage from automatically invalidating an existing will. This result means families will be protected from the sudden loss of their inheritance during times of grief. I am grateful to everyone who supported this effort to bring fairness to the legal system.

WE ARE FED UP WITH BATTLING THE GREED OF ONE MAN WHO HAS BEEN MARRIED TO OUR MUM JUST 4 YEARS ... WHO HAS TAKEN THE LOT OF WHAT OUR LATE MUM AND DAD WORKED HARD FOR BEING MARRIED 25 YEARS ....

OUR MUM DIED SUDDENLY AND THE MAN SHE WAS GOING TO DIVORCE HAS WALKED AWAY WITH OUR MUM AND DAD'S MONEY ... WHICH IS SOO WRONG BUT THE LAW SAYS IT'S ALL HIS!!
LET'S STOP THIS HAPPENING TO ANYONE ELSE AND STOP GREEDY PEOPLE TAKING WHAT ISN'T THEIRS

This is so unfair. Why should a piece of paper meant to protect your family just become useless because of a new marriage? Change the laws already!!!
Same thing happened to my brother and it ruined everything. The law is outdated and needs to catch up.
It's disgusting!! It's amazing how greedy people get when money is involved. Especially money that was set up to provide for their children should something happen to them. Good luck!!!
I've had this happen in our family, totally Agee, so heartbreaking, this could happen to anyone at any time!

Total madness. People should be able to decide who gets their stuff regardless of who they marry later. Hope this gets sorted out for u all.
