Absolutely not acceptable. Deferring payment is common practice. Does not make sense from ManuLife to do such a thing. Unforgivable.

It's a shame praying on small business owners, when you (manulife) get your mortgage payment deferred. FCAC and CMHC should investigate this, I bet they did this to many other hardworking people.

This family has the utmost dedication I have ever seen in terms of providing excellent customer service. They go over and beyond for all of their customers. What you are doing during this pandemic is ridiculous. Instead of evicting, you should be supporting these small businesses. Small businesses are the ones that will always give you their true 100%. So much for standing in this together.
Let them keep their restaurant.
