Enough is enough. This contractor should have been shut down and had his license revoked and fined years ago. If he is permitted to move forward, the entire building and safety dept should be brought up on charges and fined!

I live on Mount Washington and we had a similar problem which resulted with the creation of the Mount Washington/ Glassell Park Specific Plan. We were able to stop several outrageous projects in our neighborhood; however recently in the last year or so, with developments picking up, the city has granted developers many exceptions to the specific plan so we have a similar crisis again. I wish you well: tenacity will work for you.

Our neighborhood cannot because an open venue for whatever contractors or developers want. Nor can we condom the commercial use of these houses, built strictly for profit and not for residency.
