I rely on my parents for tuition and housing. I will not make them pay more for housing when I can live at home 40 minutes away and commute. My family isn't rich and my brother is in college too, so we could definitely the money.

I would be able to save so much money with off campus housing; not just with the housing costs but also with the meal costs. We are forced to buy a meal plan when we live on campus. The meal plan provides limited options ESPECIALLY for people with dietary needs. Living on campus makes sense for first years getting to know the area and school, but other students should have the choice, especially when it saves us money.

Paying upwards of $6000 to live in a rundown Motel 6 overrun with hookers and who knows what else is absolutely absurd.

I receive 1 email a week about spin class but I have not received a single email about this motel housing thing. We were deliberately kept in the dark because you knew students don't want this.

I’m not paying extra for on campus when a year off campus is cheaper than a semester on. Let me and others learn how to rent an apartment before we graduate.

It only makes sense to have freshmen stay on campus for one year and if anything it should just be the licensed majors upperclassmen and sophomores are financially strained as it is and forcing ridiculous fees for subpar housing is unacceptable and it's even harder for females to find suitable options

I absolutely will not be able to afford on campus living. My parents make enough so I can’t get financial aid, but not enough to pay anything. Loans are also hard to get because of their earnings.

Students should not have to live on-campus as the vast majority are adults. It is apparent that the only reason for mandatory on-campus housing is selfish financial gain as no other satisfactory reason has been given.
