Please do not pass the bill M- 103, as we do not need a system to say what we can or cannot say in our free democratic society. We already have laws against bullying and verbal abuse. Feeling insulted is a subjective term. Lots of people can feel insulted about what others say, when they should show fortitude and strength within themselves to withstand such perceived insults. Also, the people who are proposing and pushing this bill are in the main social justice warriors who are cultural Marxists and who are predominantly paid. The other group who is strongly pushing this bill into law to cripple our free speech, is Islamic fundamentalists, and according to their Koran, it is an insult for an unbeliever to even speak to a believer let alone what is said. So we will never please this group unless we all become muslim.

I have been reading through the messages you all are leaving and the fear for our future is palpable. This fight is about protecting the basic rights that keep us free from ideological overreach. I am working on getting our concerns to the people who hold the power to stop this and I will not stay quiet while our freedoms are at risk.

Seeing this level of support confirms that so many of you feel the same fear for our future that I do every single day. I am humbled by this surge in momentum because it proves that people still value the freedom to speak their minds without fear of being silenced.

Please do not pass this bill which will muzzle free speech. We must not use hateful, or degrading speech, but we must be free to express our opinions, and to promote our own religious beliefs as well - but gently and kindly to all.
I don't need nor want a gov't what to say and think. Political correctness is what is dividing our country. FREEDOM OF SPEECH is my right
This goes against Canadian values. This bill is not the way to go about this and will only promote more segregation and create more divide. Please do not take away out rights
I have never slandered any religion. Why would ever agree to have their freedom of speech reduced? It seems the ones accusing us of discrimination are the ones discriminating.
Free speach allows criticism...this bill does not...shame on the liberals and their vote pandering...

Our country was founded on Christian values and proudly claims a democracy. Freedom of speech is a part of that democracy. Love extended to all is also part of our Christian values. Both should exist side by side.
