I've had enough of passing logging trucks as is, it's a narrow road and at best only enough room for one vehicle. The forest surrounding has miles upon miles of walking trails an natural homes for wildlife. Find somewhere else to destroy!!

One has to wonder... 5.3 million hectares are classified as productive forest lands that generate an annual allowable cut of 8.2 million cubic metres of logs. If these figures are correct, what is the minister (or his designate underling) responsible for issuing cut permits doing to intervene in the destruction of a meagre 60 sq. km.'s of pristine beauty at Dore Lake? This small portion of boreal forest holds historical, eco-sensitive and recreational value and importance. But, what do I know... maybe the timber royalties paid to the crown for a relatively few cubic metres of logs are vital to the prosperity of the province.
