Stop Lifestyle Holidays Vacation Club from Selling Corrupt and Fraudulent Memberships

They are terrible. They take, bu don't live up to promises. no hot water, leaks in the room, housekeeping never comes, so much for VIP. They aren't helpful with how to sell these suites to other people.

I rescinded our contract the next day after they kept me there for 6 hrs they ripped up my first 2 letters. Finally they let us cancel. They informed us the way a 60 00 dollar charge for taxes and membership fees non refundable. They charged us for things we did not use. They than sent us a formal cancellation letter that was full of lies. 4days later they charged our credit card 30 thousand dollars

They need to stop lying to people

I cancelled my contract the next day and they are claiming we owe the 5700 dollars for taxes and fees

There is a pending class action law suit against them

We were coerced and lied too!!!

I was a victim of fraud too

I have a dispute of a charge open on my account in the amount of $12,500. I am a victim of travel scam by Life Style Holiday Vacation Club. I was a victim of high pressure sale by this company. We arrived at the resort on May 3, 2018 at 10 pm located in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic. The next morning, a little after 9 am, we had sellers from this company knocking on our room door supposedly to show us the resort. The truth is that after 4 hours of false claims (that we know now) and high pressure made by these people, we signed the contract believing everything that was said to us, from the accommodations, fees, customer service and stipulations. I felt secure and at ease because Bank of America was affiliated. However, the same night I looked at the reviews and talked to people to find out that everything that the sellers had promised us was not true. Enlightened, the very next day, I went to the office to attempt to cancel the membership, but the seller kept promising discounts, and circulating confusing information. Finally, after I kept insisting to cancel they said that we had four days to cancel and if we did decide to cancel we would have to pay $6,000 or even more. I was shocked and upset because when I asked the seller the day before if I could cancel anytime, he told me very clearly yes. He did not mention a single word about penalties and not once did he mention a $6,000-dollar cancellation fee. I could not comprehend, because I had asked the seller about cancellation 24 hours before attempting to cancel. After doing research I began to understand why the seller did not allow me to cancel. This suspicious action by the company representatives was showing that they are a fraudulent company whose only interest is collecting as much money as possible. As soon as I returned to the United States, I contacted Bank of America to stop this company and its dishonest habits. bank of America did help much in the matter!

This people just prey on hard working people with lies so you can get a contract sign

I was talked into buying a membership after just going on a getaway, there peer pressure approach got me 22yrs old to buy a $16,000 membership i regret

They just lied to us. have not use the facility since getting involved with this fraudulent contact

Every story I have read sounds exactly the same as ours concerning LHVC. LHVC they have their sales people/customer service staff say what ever they have to to get people to buy in and keep them happy for the first trip, make sure you do not have a hard copy of the Club Documents, lie about the 4 day cancellation policy, you can't travel anywhere else with them you have to use another travel company, and on and on it goes. Big Scam. They need to be stopped.

I have been a member for almost 10 years. Every time i go to lifestyle there is always something wrong. Example one year we booked a villa and when we go here there were no rooms anywhere. They put us off the grounds to a villa on to of the mountain for the first week. For our 2nd week we had to go back down to another villa by 10 am ever hour on the hour I had to go to the tower to see if our villa was ready. At 5 pm the 8 of us went to the tower as we had enough. There was a shouting match with the service rep. They locked us in a room door 2 hours with a guard with a gun. No one would listen until a person came to see us that spoke English and realized we had no villa to go to. They put us in a standard room at the tropical.
