Stop Large Townhouse Development in Continental Park
Developer is seeking to change the county's Comprehensive Development Master Plan to allow the construction of a large townhouse project. The application involves two properties located at 8460 SW 92nd Street and 8490 SW 92nd Street, which are currently zoned Estate Density Residential (one residence per acre). The request is to change the zoning to Low Density Residential, which would allow the development of up to 30 townhouses where only two single family residences currently exist. Please sign the petition to fight against the subdivision of our community. You must include your home address in the Comments section for the petition to be valid, as required by the Miami Dade County Board of County Commissioners. By signing this petition, you also would allow Eduardo Lacasa to represent your concerns before the Board of County Commissioners. Mr. Lacasa is a current Continental Park resident and attorney with experience is zoning matters who will represent us pro bono. Nonetheless, Continental Park residents are still strongly encouraged to attend, speak and show their support at the County Commission meeting for preserving our neighborhood from this inappropriate and intrusive development.
