My family have lived on Naples Drive / Paris Avenue for 43 years and use the Butts for walks every week. It is vital to preserve parts of the area that drew peoplw here in the first place and which help give the Westlands its high asteem within Stoke On Trent.

they will not be statsified until all the greenspace has gone. When it is gone it is never coming back, we must fight to preserve this well loved local amenity.

Just shows how short sighted the council are, spend money on planting trees putting new walkway in and then sell it off to the highest bidder. it off

I cannot belive that the council are selling this plott of land. They spent thousands of pounds planting trees to help block some of the pollution from the M6 polluting Newcastle. It is supposed to be green belt. The area is used by dog walkers, children playing games, people for picnics, walkers, etc.

This area is an environmental lung of trees and greenery between the M6 motorway and Newcastle residential area. Thousands of trees where planted by the council only a few years ago to enhance the existing mature wood land.

It is absolutely scandalous that the labour council should allow development of this public amenity and area of natural beauty. Outrageous!!!

The Council's decision is ill-conceived without regard to established planning policy. The eicio

We need to think of the future for our children and grand children. If every available piece of land is developed, the area will be a sorry place to be.
