Leave the green space alone. How would you like it if there were none. There is plenty of Briwn Land in Newcastle that could be developed.

The Butts should be retained as a public open space. It has been enjoyed as such for decades. Brownfield site development should be prioritised and not valuable 'greenspace' such as The Butts.
Start using empty buildings instead of new developments.the Butts is a nature site not a building site!

The reason Newcastle is a good place is because of the green spaces and trees don't lose these at a time when the council is being heavily criticised for having sky high pollution in a lot of areas.

There has been lots of regeneration in the area already and more to come on the hamptons scrapyard and the golf course, we don't need anymore, this is a lovely area for family walks.

you have a derelict golf course at Keele which will never be usable for golf again realistically as no one who may have purchased it will be able to do so now that's it's been unkempt for a year, it would take a year or more of care to bring it back, and that won't be financially viable. Leave the butts alone, out green spaces are too important, particularly here small enclaves. Build on Keele, not the butts.

Newcastle's green spaces are what makes it a beautful place to live, they are part of mine and other's childhoods. Where other towns and cities are losing their green spaces it would be beyond a crime to lose them here.

If anything needs to be done with parks it's either nothing or making them more child/person friendly for activities not more houses which in turn leaves nowhere for the people in those houses to go.
