It has been observed that city government has been killing the dogs in order to control their population to avoid the risks they can cause to the human population. Controlling the population of stray dogs is important to control deadly diseases like Rabies as well as to avoid other risks to human population; however killing them is highly cruel and inhumane way to control their population. We have serious concerns on this and strongly condemn this brutual procedure as this is severe violation of animal rights. We urge you to immediately stop the killing of dogs and adopt the humane ways to control their population such as Animal Birth Control program through spaying/neutring. This will be a humane way of controlling the dog population and preventing the human population from risks without violating animals' right.
