Its not the Beavers fault! We need the Beavers! The poor things! Its disgusting what they are doing to save a buck and not use the flow devices!

It doesn't make any sense to kill them as soon as the habitat becomes open and free of beavers more beavers or going to move in so we are just killing senselessly. Education and understanding of how to live with our Wildlife makes much more sense then killing everything. Talk to The Experts find out how to put in the flow devices and let's work with the world's best builders and architects.

Our road association installed a device in front of a culvert flowing water from Buffy Lake under Meredith Lane (a SF municipal but not assumed road) down to another lake. A Twp dry hydrant is a few feet away. MarcK Segsworth would know where it is. After a few years of frustration, the beavers left. It worked.

Why is it humans always resort to killing anything that inconveniences them. Beavers have every right to be here. Humans have this misconception that they are more valuable and important than any other species.

Stop the killing. Beavers are an integral part of our ecosystem. There are better ways to handle this issue that do not involve killing.

The City of Kingston's policy is to hire a trapper to kill beavers? They've just spent money on saving the Turtles - a very expensive venture I might add. Fully support the installation of flow devices to prevent beaver dam flooding. Killing is never the answer!
