How could City Council approve of killing beavers when there is an alternative. I am contacting someone locally who has solved his flooding problem on his property without killing Beavers.

This is a band aid solution that will cause a lot of suffering. Kits stay in the lodge with parents for the first year at the least. There is a solution that will take some preparation and deals with Beavers in a humane way. Lisa Osanic has the right approach to get help.

Don't drown an animal. If an animal needs to be put down, use a more humane method: drowning is completely cruel.

Stop the unnecessary killing of beavers. They do more good than harm. There are ways to work snd live with them. Shame on the city for killing our beautiful harmless animals. It's time to stop the killing.

I want my city to be enlightened in regards to finding innovative solutions, including humane treatment of all creatures. We are not an innovative city if we are involved in the fur trade (killing beavers) in the 21st century. Sincerely, Douglas S. Henderson

Be responsible and kind. Please use flow devices instead of killing innocent animals that our society has imposed itself upon

These animals are essential for the survival of not only our wetlands but our planet. Any killing of Beavers accidental or otherwise is very wrong. This is Canada isn't the Beaver our national animal??
