I think all traps should be banned and plan to work on that. Until that can happen I'm for safer traps. I had no idea this happened until I saw dogs on Lost Dogs MN that had died that way. No excuse for any animal to have to suffer this way.Thanks for spreading the word.

Thank you for your work on this important issue. It would not take much to protect our pets. in fact, no animal should experience such a horrific death. I would say we all should contact our elected officials, but i am not convinced it would do much good.

These changes that are being proposed are needed to keep all of our hunting dogs /pets safe. There is no reason not to put these changes into effect. They will not affect the trapping of game.

I was appalled when I heard of dogs dying this way. Please change the law so trappers can still trap, but someones beloved companion doesn't have to die.
