Ketchen Land Company is planning on a land fill in Duff,TN ! They say they are no stopping this but we must try everything. This is going to be a dumpsite for coal ash only? I ask them if they were going to dump anything besides ash? They said" no, that's not the plan but we have a class A permit!" That means they can dump whatever they want ! The first questions I ask was about methane gas, toxins, contaminations of our water , etc. Any risk of dust off the site that can cause cancer? They said "No risk ,it's just ash we will water down an transport by train. There will be no methane gas off this!" What happens when they dump metal, prescription drugs,chemicals ,batteries, plastic or electronics? I think that will be a big risk an since they made it clean they have the permit ,What will stop them from poisoning us then? We have to stop them or at least make them change the permit from class A to a more Regulated class permit where they have a strict guide line? We all know ash dumping will not be the problem, more serious stuff will be dumped an we all will be at risk! We will all be little to no distance from a ground full of poison above our families,homes, animals, gardens an water . This mountain is our home an our way of life please help STOP this process? We refuse to give up an live in fear. You might of paid the county Commissioners but our kids future isn't for sale!!!! Please sign ????
