Hello, we just received the flyers about proposed Verizon Cell Tower in the cemetery next to our houses. We read about the dangers of the cell phone towers, especially cancer causing effects, and did our research in finding enough data to strongly oppose the idea. Our health is in danger, and as owners of the nearby properties and citizens of this great city, we are ready to fight this proposition. Please hear out our voices as we will be coming to the meeting held at Brand Library on February 4th. Thank you.

Keep it out of the cemetery. My kids play right near there and I dont want any of this radiation stuff anywhere near our neighborhood. Put it on San Fernando where it belongs.

Ridiculous. We already have enough bars on our phones. Stop trying to ruin the view with a fake plastic palm tree.

Hi Neighbors-
This is just a reminder that the continuation of the Kenneth Village cell tower meeting that was scheduled for today has been postponed until Weds, Nov. 5 at 5 pm.
I am waiting to hear back from Brad Collin (senior planner on the case) regarding the exact location of the cell tower in the cemetery as well as a community meeting with Verizon (they were asked by the Planning Commission to set one up; NWGHA offered to host).
I'll let you all know what I hear, when I hear it!

Thanks for organizing this. I am very concerned about what this is going to do to our property values. None of us want to look at a 50 foot fake tree while we are out walking the dog.

The following is an email from Bradley Collin, Senior Planner at the City of Glendale, about the current status of the cell tower:
Hello neighbors, property Owners, and interested parties,
I wanted to keep you all in the loop. The applicant for Verizon Wireless, for the wireless telecommunication mono palm antenna proposed at 1400 West Kenneth, is still working with the owners of the cemetery to locate the wireless facility on the cemetery property. Since no agreement has been reached, they are asking to continue the October 1st Planning Commission meeting to November 5th Planning Commission meeting.
