While the increased noise and environmental pollution are major concerns and are definitely worse under the Metroplex, of more concern is the fact that landings and take-offs that are the most dangerous elements of flight are being put over people rather than the bay. This defies logic.

Not only are the planes too loud and too low, they very often fly by outside of the allotted hours (6am, middle of the night even, etc).

we have lived in the back bay area for over 20 years. The noise has gotten much worse under Metroplex. Newport is being ruined!

I have lived in the Bluffs neighborhood for 19 years. The noise from the jets flying overhead is deafening and increasing. I have seen an increase in a black substance on my plants. This is alarming and unacceptable. Everyone is complaining and aware of this increase in noise and pollution.

Crystal covers are not going to be happy if JWA continues to increase air traffic over our beautiful beaches and community. Jet fuel is not a good thing for the plants and wildlife in our protected areas!

Aircraft must be rerouted back down the center of the bay. Over and above the environmental concerns is the safety of the people living under the takeoff path. As take off and landing are the most dangerous phases of flight, it defies concern for the humanity living below the Metroplex take off path that the FAA would deliberately reroute aircraft from the middle of the bay with no humanity below to the left side of the bay with thousands of people. Why would the FAA subject so many people to such unnecessary danger?

The plane noise is more than a nuisance! We hear the jets during the day and late at night, which ruins our peace and quiet!
