I have lived in the bluffs for 34 years and never complained about noise before, but it's really starting to bother us

Well said... our Bluff front view home is currently on the market and we had an all cash offer at asking price back out of escrow due to the plane noise they heard when performing their inspection. We are still on the market 9 weeks later. Our realtor has specifically acknowledged and accredited our inability to sell our home to the increased plane noise. Southwest has been consistently respectful of the noise abatement take off. If all planes could abide by this it would reduce noise significantly.

After studying this, personally think the STAYY proposal that creates a two-turn takeoff down-the-middle to the coast is fair to all, more like the old days.

Keep the planes flying over the water. That's the agreement we agreed to when we bought our home in this area!

Environmental impacts are significant with the decibels of departing flights well over the allowable limits tolerated by other countries. Stress, high blood pressure and pulmonary affects are increased with the constant economic pressured to get planes to the next destination the cheapest way possible.

This is the biggest run around I have ever seen. We have lived in Dover Shores for 30 years and I grew up here as well. It has never ever been this bad. We are being lied too! What happened to the planes flying over the back bay for safety and to offend the fewest amount of residents as possible. It is an out rage and there is no reason this problem can't be taken care of immediately. Many r suffering!!!

Please return to previous flight paths that were over the Upper Newport Bay and not over the Bluffs residential area.

When I purchased my home in Newport Beach I checked the information on flight patterns from JWA. I did not realize that could be changed so quickly without notifying residents and putting into the vote. It is a health problem. Please change back the flight pattern to go over the water. Thank you. BE Basu

Could they just "do the right thing" and return to the departure path which sends planes down the middle of the bay?
