The planes have been noticeably closer and louder lately. I would much rather they fly over the Back Bay.

The noise level has increased, the planes are flying lower, the noise abatement program is all but gone and it is only going to get worse.

JWA flight plans need to go back to what they were. Noise abatement rules should be reimplemented

In an effort to reduce the number of residences affected by the noise from flights leaving John Wayne Airport, the planes take a hard left to place some of the flight path over the Back Bay. However from my observations most of the flights are only over the Back Bay for a short distance. This altered flight path does concentrate the flights over a narrow area along the residences of East Bluff, Park Newport, Hyatt, Sea Island, Villa Point, Promontory Point, Irvine Terrace and Balboa Island.
A more 'fair' distribution of the noise would be for the planes to have a range of flight paths ranging from a hard right to a hard left forming a fan shape centered around a direct flight from the John Wayne run ways. This would spread the flight paths and associated noise over 4 or more miles of the coast line rather than the current approximately 1/4 mile of a majority of the current flight paths. This would reduce the overhead flights in any one region from a flight every 1 to 2 minutes to one every 15 to 30 minutes.

This change has made the airplane traffic noise much more intrusive than the past patterns. Please go back to the departure pattern that was in place for many years.

Please re route the planes, the noise, and blak stuff that is coming down to our houses is terrible. Re routing the planes back over the back bay causes less noise and pollutants to everyone. PLEASE! We have lived here for 25 years and cannot believe the change.

Would it not be great if we could hear while talking on the phone or if we could hear our favorite programs on TV. I hate to think about what I am breathing especially when I wipe off the patio furniture. What is that stuff....black, oily..???

Noise and Pollution from planes are way more than anyone should have to endure. I really do not care about more profits for the airlines, but I do care about our health.

John Wayne Airport: private plans are now flying over homes in Bayview Terrace where they never used to. Why? How come we are concerned with saving the airline industry money? What about home owners and potential loss of home value?? Also, John Wayne Airport has a strict noise, policy, why is that not being followed!!
