Almost 20 year resident and the noise is getting really bad. We have to turn the tv up overtime a plane goes by or we cannot hear it. Backyard conversations have to stop as the planes pass. Big quality of life issue!!

The noise from jets taking off from JWA has increased dramatically since the airlines (except Southwest ) have stopped using the steep climb and powerback on takeoff. In recent years, when the jets take off I am forced to stop all outside conversation until the jets pass and in the morning for the 7 AM departures I must close all my windows and doors if I want to sleep any later than 7:02 AM. The flight pattern for most jets is now much more concentrated over an alignment with Jamboree Road and our residential neighborhoods. I love having JWA in our neighborhood but PLEASE do something more to minimize the noise on takeoff. Thank you!

Newport residents should only vote for candidates that support the position of eliminating JWA noise

This is getting progressively worse. The frequency and volume are becoming intolerable.

I'd be very interested to know why these measures should not be implemented

Wish airlines had to pay to clean up the black gunk all over my house and yard.

Flight path down back bay impacts far fewer homes than March/April 2017 flight path. Let's push to restore it!

I concur with the demand for the city of Newport Beach to take immediate steps to correct and continue the flight path over the water.

Safety is to have a flight path following the back bay not over schools, homes etc.

Admit that your “no significant impacts” finding is simply not true. Move the first left turn after takeoff to its previous location further down the bay and adjust departure routes so planes are over the water – not our homes – until reaching the coastline.

I have to mute my TV when a plane passes over. It has gotten much louder lately.
