The noise level over Balboa Island has increased to a level where you cannot have a conversation when a plane passes overhead, you cannot have your windows open, and the soot from the planes makes the ground outside our homes filthy. What's it doing to our children's lungs? It was never perfect to begin with, but has gotten 10x worse!

The new flight path has made it impossible for me to work with my windows open. This is destructive to our community's quality of life and property values. This is the opposite of the FAA's statement which is only concerned about the airline's profits. I for one plan to use another airport whenever possible and others should do the same.

How could tax paying homeowners and businesses be cast aside by airlines and FAA?!! This was a beach, fishing, and surf community long before it became an international airport. Where has all the consideration for the community and its well-being gone?

Flight out of JWA need to be over water after take off and positioned in pattern with the least intrusion to residence in the area. This includes cutting back on the engine until well over the ocean = reduction in noise to residents below.
