Any victim of domestic violence who doesn't have the resources to go up against a wealthy spouse in court is not going to hold their own. Family law attorneys are the huge villians here and are fed by the spouse who has the money. It is not a fair game to get to family law court to even have your case heard to begin. You first have to somehow cut through the layers of uneithical attorneys who are mostly out to take your money and throw you under the bus.
