if a person has lived a clean upright life after making an error in judgement or mistake should continue to be punished by not being gamefully employed. There are people in high places that are and have been committing white collar crimes for years been caught and still got good jobs in the same type of fields like nothing happened. They have enough money to get an expensive attorneys to get their records expunged no matter what they have done or what they owe to anybody. What about us poor people who are trying to do right and get a good job to support their familys or just themselves and have no money to pay an attorney because they can't get a job of any kind even in a second hand store to live much less pay an atty. There is no simple instructions to file an expungement petition yourself either. And still have to pay $100.00 to even file an expungement no matter what age you are. Let's stop this type of discrimination? Make expungement criteria simpler to fill out.  If 70 or older folk get expungements for free from the state no matter what they owe. They are more than not are on a fixed income and can't pay for anything anyway.  But can't even get a job at McDonalds.
