Why is IG trying to follow FB??? So annoying and frustrating!

As a business owner, this type of "best first" with Instagram actually hurts our business with less activity, likes and comments...I post way more to Instagram than Facebook because I was guaranteed chronological order, where with Facebook I hardly post because I know people won't see anything, nor do they respond.

Please keep Instagram a pure representation of time!! We want to see things in reverse chronological order -- this is one of the many reasons I love Instagram!!

NO ONE I HAVE EVER SPOKEN TO LIKES THIS TYPE OF FEED. No one. At all. Everyone complains about missing all the most recent posts even when they try to switch over to that option via Facebook. NO ONE. Instagram was one of the FEW places that kept this type of feed and I loved it. Then they started not showing everyone I followed in my feed and now they want to rearrange it to essentially tell me what I want to see? PLEASE KEEP IT CHRONOLOGICAL. It's actually one of the draws to your app!

The only thing I would like you to put first is everything that's not an ad (those can go to the bottom of my feed) but keep everything else in the chronological order it's currently in. Instagram is simple and effective. Why mess with a good thing?

I am a small business and when facebook did this my business and blog views dropped significantly which is why I started using Instagram and it helped make up for those lost sales. Now the exact same thing will happen because of this unnecessary change! I follow hundreds of people and rarely miss a post. Please keep it chronological so small businesses like mine can continue to promote our brand.

I absolutely hate the "popular first" feed on Facebook and no matter how many times I change the setting to 'Most Recent First' it switches back every damn time. And that isn't even an option with the app. I don't want to have to hunt down my friends pages to see their posts because Instagram doesn't deem it worthy of being first.
It will also make it harder for small businesses to self promote with photos of their work when there's a 50/50 chance their followers will see what they're up to (I work for a wedding planning company and we use IG for sneak peeks) if the algorithm doesn't think it "best".
Please don't do this

I have been using instagram to grow my illustration business. I'm finally picking up a little following, but this new algorithm will essentially bury my posts under those of popular artists with thousands of followers. That's not fair at all. Maybe prioritise a few posts at the top, sure, but don't prioritise the ENTIRE feed!

I love the format of Instagram as is and have found myself less and less on Facebook because of what I do and do not see in my feed and the frustration of posting images only to feel like they aren't seen unless I boost them. Hearing that this will be the case on Instagram is so frustrating and will leave many of us trying to find a new alternative.

I'm speechless by this change, it's ridiculous and stupid on so many levels. Everyone should be treated equal and not by how rich or high quality their photos are! Unfortunately not eveyone can afford a really good camera but that doesn't mean their photos aren't good!
