Do biosecurity regulations only apply when it suits the Australian Government? https://www.ipetitions.com/petition/stop-imported-rock-into-norfolk-island?utm_source=facebook&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=&quote_id=quote1&title_id=title2&recruiter=13007280&loc=create-petition-confirmation

Definitely don't need rock and attached organisms coming into Norfolk Island. This could be devastating to the local flora and fauna and fruit and vegetable crops grown here. I would also like to see locals being employed using the Island's local rock for the project!

Norfolk Island has remained free of pests thanks to the stewardship of its people, do not put this unique place at risk.

Stop imported rock products to Norfolk, look at the long term future of the Island. Build the 3rd pier,up grade the runway, gain rock supply for the years to come.
