Absolutely ridiculous, additionally if local rock can no longer be quarried imagine the cost of gravel base for putting in your driveway, or paths etc. I don't think an isolated community can survive without their own quarry. Concrete is already very expensive this will hugely increase it.

Importing rocks is a biosecurity threat. There have already been 3 serious biosecurity breaches because of imported products since the Australian government took over. NO MORE!

NO TO IMPORTATION OF ROCK. Not only is there adequate rock & rescourses on island, the threat to Norfolks unique Eco System/Environment is catastrophic. USE LOCAL. SUPPORT THE LOCAL ECONOMY.

We need to prevent any importation of rock or sand. It is well proven that the importation of such material also lets other unwanted side effects happen as well.
