As long as Imam Asim fixes up and repents for his sins, and does not re-commit his mistakes he should be worthy of his title as Imam. May Allah protect him.

This is disgraceful, Imam Asim is the biggest influence our youth have had to return to the deem - that seen which emphasises mercy and compassion. Yet he is being shown none of this. He sinned, we all sin, yet his was made public is this merciless manner. It’s like all th good he’s done for the ummah has been forgotten over this. It’s extremely disheartening to see imams tarnish the reputation of other imams and say it’s in the name of Islam. All the best to Imam Saab, he was and will continue to be a legend for the work he has carried out and the internal struggles he must’ve faced that no one knows anything about.
