Even though I am not a BC resident, I would like to lend my support for the mitigation proposal and the BC Provincial Wildlife Act. It is a travesty that anyone would destroy a nest tree, especially when the Bald Eagle population is still in the process of recovery from its near extinction.

It's so sad and makes me angry that people do not think nor care what they destroy if it fits their needs. This needs to stop. Just fines doesn't stop this. They have enough money to pay the fine. Stiffer penalties.

The destruction of bird habitat has become alarming. There is no thought or care considered when mowing down trees. Eagles require certain types of trees for nests. We absolutely must do all we can to prevent this on going destruction of habitat.

Please stop the destruction of the environment. With all the forest fires happening we should not destroy habitats for our wildlife purposefully.
