This is a major issue because Hawaii is ranked second (alongside California) in the United States as being one of the worst states in human trafficking. We believe that the government should take action because human trafficking is a form of modern day slavery, which is illegal. Our mission is to increase the awareness of this grave crime from within, and possibly beyond our community. This is a form of indentured servitude and should not be continued as it violated human rights. Our vision is to create a better sense of understanding of this topic in hopes for people to start taking action.
