Do not let this poorly-conceived bill remove protections and our access to these public lands.

Public lands belong to we the people, not we the corporations. Please do not steal my public lands - vote NO on HR 6939!

We need to protect more land, not get rid of what we've got. Our lands are more important than our pocketbooks. We have access to everything we NEED as is.

Undeveloped public lands are our most precious resource. Extensive public discussion both in Wyoming and the nation is essential to the future of our public land.

Another attempt to cater to the Oil, Coal and Gas companies that operate in Wyoming, is the only reason why Cheney introduced this bill. We don't need to give our public lands to these people for them to destroy and damage these lands.

As a Wyoming woman, this petition means so much to me. Wyoming is one of the most wild and wonderful states in the union, and these lands make it just that. It is SO important to keep these lands protected, to keep them safe and to honor them as they are. Destroying these lands would be absolutely devastating to not only the landscape, but to the animals and people that inhabit the state. Keeping these lands public and protected is the only option.

Been going to Wyoming since 1960. Liz Cheney is out of touch with her constituents.

Maintain protections for WSA and for federally managed public lands! Don't pass HR 6939. This legislation did not see any public comment period, and is therefore not representative of Rep Cheney's constituents, or even pretending representation. Wilderness and WSA land are good for our hunting, fishing and tourism economy, which is far more sustainable and healthier than the extractive industry. And, revenue from the H/F/T economy stays in our communities, rather than going to an out-of-state (or out-of-country) corporation.

I vote no. This legislation does not protect public lands and wilderness areas which are one of Wyoming's most valuable resources. It is essential to protect wilderness areas for our sustainable future.

I reside in Lander WY and use these lands as part of my recreation. They are a large reason as to why I moved out here and have stayed here. Please do not pass these.

Keep our wilderness study areas intact and protected. This area should not suffer from further development without pubic input.

As a resident of Idaho who recreates in Idaho and Wyoming regularly, I am signing this petition to prevent passage of HR 6939. There are hundreds of thousands of wilderness quality lands that need protection. My vote is to protect those public lands - this restoring local input is not an aptly named or well executed plan. Please DO NOT pass HR 6939.
