Success! Far right groups not welcome in our local pub

Hi Paul, it's great to hear about the new management's commitment not to host far right groups. As a result we've updated to information above to let people that the situation has changed and that a boycott is no longer being called. We plan to take the whole petition down in a few weeks unless the situation changes.

As of the 14th of January there are new tenant Landlord and Lady, Cosmin and Florina, who have acquired a long term lease on the Brunswick Arms. They are aware of the actions of the previous temporary managers in allowing Advance UK to hold a meerkting in the Brunswick. Cosmin and Florina have stated catagorically that under their stewardship there will be no right wing political meetings, or any other political meetings for that matter in the Brunswick Arms. As a consequence the petitoon should be lwithdrawn and the boycott lifted. Cosmin and Florina are young and enthusiastic and want to rebuild the reputation of the Brunswick. Pubs are struggling. It would be a great shame if the Brunswick went under. Please give Cosmin and Florina your support.

I am shocked and disgusted at this. The Brunswich has always been a welcoming and safe space, so this pivot is doubly disgusting.

Please, don't host the far right, they aren't nice people

This is a far-right group, and there is no middle ground. If you're allowing them to meet at the Brunswick, you're endorsing what they stand for. Anyone with a conscience should boycott this pub until you confirm that you will not allow them to meet in your pub again.

Really disappointed to hear this. I love the Brunswick but I won't drink there again until the landlord agrees not to host far right groups. It's not enough to say "we're unbiased", you should be biased when it comes to the far right, anyone of sound mind should want nothing to do with that.

Totally support everthing in this petition. Please leave our local businesses alone. To the pub, please do not host any such groups again.

We do not want individuals with a record of exploiting slave labour, intimidating journalists, and portraying immigrants as an invading force to be given a platform to speak in our city — especially not at the Brunswick pub in Swansea.

This was one of my fave pubs ( I've exhibited my artwork there) but I am boycotting it until management stop hosting fascists. Shocking behaviour.

My great-grandfather and grandfather drank in that pub and both fought in wars against fascists. They would be appalled to see the place host scum like this.
