It's a monumental piece in the city.
Doesn't cause any harm to anyone.
Leave things alone and spend the council money on things that actually matter and need doing.

Why would they remove something that has been there for as long as I can remember !!! Just ridiculous to be honest!! Why not pay attention to the mess there making of this city !!! And fix the bloody roads !!!

Really, get a grip Council. This has been there for years, he is part of the landscape of the city centre. Stop being ridiculous.

This beggars belief!! What valid reason or benefit would it be to remove what is somewhat of a landmark in our city!!!
Disgrace. Many years ago I spent a lot of money on A frame boards to sit outside my business - and then boom - some random person in the council decided that every business in Inverness was no longer 'allowed' to do this. The city centre is fast becoming a sad looking place and the removal of our butcher is just another bullying tactic. He has proudly stood there for 30 years - let's fight to leave him where he belongs

Your happy to spend OUR money on a stupid pier over the Ness but you want to remove an iconic part of Inverness that has never cost us a penny and it entertains us all. Honestly who are you people???
