The jolly butcher statue does not appear to have been a problem for nearly thirty years. It looks very eye catching. Please let him stay to greet the customers. Thank you.

It's just part of Inverness.
For instance someone asking where Duncan Fraser & Son is.....Answer.....it's along from the Post Office.....can't miss it......it's got a big Butcher model right outside the shop.

Working with wheelchairs the pavements and pot holes are the dangers. But suppose council see that as okay and only take action if someone gets hurt. We have all grown up with the dummy sto removing everything Inverness has to fit in with other cities it's destroying our home town. Listen to the people instead sitting behind the desk

The statue has been their so long it's become a part of the city. I see tourists take photos with it in the background. Don't erase our memories.
