i am signing this because i feel strongly against things like this and understand how important communities are. i am also looking for Modembo Tshiobi, who i can see has also signed this petition. i found his bag in clerkenwell and would like to get it back to him. please pass this message on to him or anyone that might know him. Stop social cleansing. All 32 boroughs belong to ordinary people and communities, not,the rich. Save London from rapacious neo liberal market fundamentalism.

These are homes and a community of people, not a housing project on a spreadsheet. The council should listen to the people who actually live here and not impose something on them that they don't want.

I believe refurbishment is needed, not more homes. The area already has too many cars, the schools are well over subscribed and there are not enough services to house extra people. It would overcrowd the area which is a friendly, social, caring community at present.
