The east already have high crime due to excessive section 8 participants.
We need to get a grip on crime, need more police presence.

It's bad enough we have to deal with the city pushing all of the low income housing into the east, now we have convicts too!!!

In the best interest of ALL the people of ENOLA is for this half way housing to RELOCATED to another area of the city! ENOLA has been overlooked in the rebuilding & reviving plans of city except for housing for criminals! The residents of ENOLA need MORE businesses that will bring revneue to the area.

Location, location, location!!! Bullard, Read, and Crowder should not used to attract low end retail stores or businesses that would deter high end stores from coming to the East. See if that would be tolerated on Canal Street, St. Charles Street, or Harrison Avenue.

Homeowner's in New Orleans East are very concerned about the image of our community. The majority of the Metro Area have a negative image of the East. This type of business will have a grave impact on the quality of life that we have tried so hard to rebuild over many years. The proposed location is very close to residential houses with high price tags. This type of business is certain to have an affect on home values. I am sure you can find another location that will be more suitable to the needs of the people you want to serve. New Orleans East is not the place for a Half-Way House.

I am very concerned about the types of businesses being brought to New Orleans East. I am not interested in a halfway house in my community. My family and I welcome wholesome family establishments for sit done dinner and/ entertainment venues , i.e., movies, museums, recreational activities are much more suited for the people residing here and for families who desire neighborhoods that enrich our lives. Focus on positive attributes instead of negative.

A facility of this nature would only act to impede the much needed economic growth in this community. We need businesses that will encourage retail and residential development. Please DO NOT bring this to New Orleans East!!!

Please do not bring this into our community. This type of project is not wanted at all. Please consider bringing in a Whole Foods, family restaurant, movie theatre, bowling alley or something to actually benefit the community. We are better than this in NOE.
