No one would build a library or nursing home next to a 20 lane shooting range. Why build a shooting range next to them? Law enforcement should have a place to practice. No question. The question is where is the PROPER place for such a facility? Common sense please!

I don't believe the shooting range should be behind the library. There has to be a more remote area that could be used.

The library is a wonderful place for young and old. I feel the shooting range would be dangerous and would make it too loud for the library. Too bad it could not be made into something for the kids like a discovery center.

I definitely think that there is a better location for this. Unfortunately, there will be complaints no matter where it is. A library is supposed to be a quiet place for many reasons. Clearly having a shooting range behind a library will definitely dissolve the quietness that many need and use while at the library. It also may upset some clients at the Bradford County Manor, especially those on the Dementia/Alzheimer unit. These are the concerns that I would deeply focus on.

I live right up the road from the library. I do not want to listen to guns going off at all hours of the day and night. There are many children in our small neighborhood and many pets. We don't need to be worrying about them anymore than we already do. Ntm they are trying to put a shooting range BESIDE a jail... SMH...not a good idea at all! Let our quiet neighborhood be and find somewhere else to put the shooting range...
