This would destroy the family farm started by my great grandfather! We oppose this railroad development.

We do not want this railroad in Winnebago County. It will spoil the countryside, farm land, and will not create jobs like they say. Winnebago County & Rockford Politicians just want to make money at the cost of their citizens. The GLB railroad is unneccesary and we DO NOT want this here or anywhere!

We chose this area for many reasons including the beauty and peacefulness. This country has made this same mistake too many times eliminating our agricultural land. Plus the "jobs it could create" would be temporary. They move on and we are left with the terrible ramifications of noise.. Thank goodness UPS planes are at 230-3am. That is bad enough. SAY NO!

This would destroy a century farm that has indescribable meaning for our family.

This is beautiful, quiet, productive agricultural country. We invested in our land for the peace and beauty. Do not ruin our lives!

Absolutely not! We live right near the proposed track. There are many homes and 3 large subdivisions within a few miles. Our home values will plummet. We will never be able to sell our homes! Just like Boone County- move on!

They have no reason to take over land on eminent domain not after people put there hard working money into something to give it away. It is not needed in Winnebago county re route

Not here, no thanks. We need things of local value here, like our farms for instance. Forrest Preserves and natural habitat. Thanks, but no thanks.
