The lies told about (MODERN) uranium mining on the on the north rim are ludicrous. Making the North kaibab a national monument is criminal in my opinion. h

Now Keep Sedona Beautiful wants to make all of Sedona, Oak Creek Canyon, VOC, and parts of Clarkdale and Campe Verde a national monument, land locking us in a national monument and restricting everything we can do around our homeThe monument would have senior water rights to our plentiful water supply here. Please sign our petition http://www.arizonaliberty.us/Vote_NO_SVVRRNM_U.html

This is another example of massive federal overeach. Rep. Anne Kirkpatrick is making this political play with our PUBLIC LAND in an effort to galvanize her base of left wing support for her bid to unseat John Mcain in the US senate. This is nothing more the political capital she is trying to spend. We all must fight back if we value our freedom and remaining public land.

As a resident of northern Arizona, Grand Canyon and a lover of the lands surrounding, I am fully in support of preserving and conserving the heritage, beauty an access to all of our public lands. However, I do not support the creation of such a wide-sweeping monument as the GCWNM proposed by radical environmental NGO's who actually intend to limit, restrict an prohibit specific human activities in attaining their wide ranging goals.

I am apposed to the creation of another national monument in Arizona. This land s currently administered and protected by the Bureau of Land management and warrants no further restrictions.

This is total B.S. Arizonas only Trophy Animal Units & the Politicians want to shut it down for some BOGUS, B.S. excuse to get politics/politicians involved. What does Obama know about the area? Guarantee nothing except the hi-lighted pieces of the proposal his secretary handed him. This president is signing more laws & important documents than any other in history. We as AMERICANS need to watch our Asses with this guy. SERIOUSLY

Kepp the best policies and practices in the hands of those who can and will manage these lands effectively. A national park is not the solution to the need in Arizona or for this area.
