This super spreader event greatly raises the risk of increasing infection unnecessarily when the last thing we want is for Glasgow to enter another full lockdown.

There is no parking control. People are parking on both sides of Hamilton drive and Buckingham st and blocking the pavements. The mess and noise is unbearable.

During Covid it is inconceivable that this event is still taking place. The event organisers actively encourage travel into a tier 3 area and recommend the use of public transport when this is supposed to only be for “essential” use. It is completely irresponsible!

I passed by the main gate of the Botanics at 5.30PM yesterday. Despite Covid, despite high winds & pouring rain this fiasco went ahead regardless last night. Who is making money out of this???

Walked through the Botanics today and wasn't sure how this is supposed to work safely. I understand we want our normal lives back but I wouldn't risk going this year.

Amazed this went ahead. Walked past a few days ago and the queue was wild, no one social distanced, large groups, and security couldn't keep on top of it. It should be stopped and organisers should be fined.

An event that seems to abandon so many sensible restrictions during Covid. I live very near and see the crowds moving through it and having difficulty social distancing every night so far.
