I for one have had just about enough from the city of Georgetown. They have developed all around Serenada,which has altered the drainage flows which puts some of us at a risk for flooding that did not exist before. Now large jet flights would create the potential for a catastrophic plane crash. And for those of us in Serenada and Indian Mound can't vote in city elections, So we have no way to even FIRE the politicians who are pushing this. I for one would be in favor of incorporating our area as a village and taking them to court.

Having lived next to a "small" airport in our last home, we know the impact on quality of life when an airport expands. PLEASE - don't do it!!

No expansion of the airport. Stop large jets from coming in. And move the airport out away from the city if larger aircraft is needed.

Totally agree. MOVE the airport if this is what you wish. Every now and again we hear a roaring loud plane (in the BC subdivision) to which startles us to wonder - what is that sound. Our taxes are high enough for the quality of life to live where we live. Dont trash it. Move it! And its amazing that we hear about this proposal through social media. Another item to dodge the population of this city to comfort the city "wants". Listen to the people and not just yourselves.

I agree with Robert Meeker and others with the same mindset: move the airport and develop the existing site. There are too many homes with a higher tax base that will be negatively affected -- Berry Creek, Indian Mound, Serenada, Estrella to name a few. Not to mention the safety factor....

Please don't expand the types of aircraft allowed to land if the airport stays where it is. Moving the airport to a less populated area might be something to look at and would allow further growth.

If the airport needs to be expanded, it needs to be moved. The peace and quiet that we enjoyed when we purchased our home 28 years ago has already been shattered. This will make it unbearable. First and foremost, this is a safety issue. But it is also very much a quality of life issue.

This will destroy not only the homeowners quiet but the environment around the airport. Many animals call the land home. This would kill them.
