The local authority has confirmed the policy regarding adoption targets is officially rescinded. We are now reviewing the new oversight procedures to ensure these practices do not return in another form.

it was awful what they did to my daughter. the social worker didnt get her adoption though. she has now left her old job and gone onto the adoption section ,,obvious all she wanted was points,, but ripped our lives apart
There is no reason for this when a loving parent is willing to change their life so they can be a part of the childs. No child should be from a parents unless their parents are a danger in whatever way to them.
This happened to me as an 18 year old. I was excited to meet my baby but SS said he would be better off with an adoptive family. I'm not even allowed to be sent photos of my son in case I use them to track him down. I never hurt my baby or gave them any reason to think I would. This has destroyed my life.
Adoption is a LAST resort when all else fails but it seems the authorities are abusing this with the aproval of some judges.it is wrong and NOT in the child's best interest and it breaks their human rights.it needs to be STOPPED
Social Services MUST be stopped, this is all too common and a big sign that they are abusing power they should never have been given unless there has been a criminal conviction

after being a victim of forced adoption I believe my children were taken for no other reason than meeting government targets and was lead to believe the whole time I would be reunited with my precious babies
