As a fan I feel very concerned that we're not going to see the wheel to wheel action that we had previously like for example the fantastic move Webber did on Alonso at Spa in 2011 or perhaps thr great move Hakkienen did on Schumacher at Les Combes in Spa the FIA need to listen what the fans are saying because fans want to see drivers battling on track and so far this year us fans have loved the entertainment on track with Vettel battling Verstappen at Silverstone this year, the fantastic moves Bottas was doing to finish 2nd at Silverstone this year and of course the battle for the title against 2 top drivers this year between Vettel and Hamilton on track the list goes on and on and on. Another point would be that would Alonso be able to get out of the car with the halo on his car at Australia in 2016? I think not. If an accident like that happened again drivers wouldn't be able to get out of the car with a worst case scenario being a car catches fire and the driver can't get out of the car. That would then put the drivers more at risk. So as a fan I urge the FIA to rethink their decision as the joy of F1 racing will be gone if they go down this path. Please rethink your decision thank you.

I have always been in great love with formula one and I understand that there has to be some more safety for the drivers. However, THE HALO IS NOT THE SOLUTION. It is antiesthetic and doesn't seem to be so protective. I have a serious concern, for instance, on if the halo would have been able to prevent the almost fatal incident that Felipe Massa had in Hungary 2009. All in all I believe the quest for a safer formula one is on and is fair enough, I personally think the Shield (tested by Sebastian Vettel in Silverstone) is a way more beautiful option and we all could happily get used to it. It is true though that it would take some time for it to be implemented since it really has to develop.
