If the drivers don't want the halo and the fans don't want it either then why should it be introduced?

The drivers are the ones who have to drive the cars, if they oppose it, then the FIA should listen!

The HALO shouldn't be introduced due to the fact that it completely ruins the aesthetics of the car and has not been tested enough by different teams and drivers to be able to be added to the 2018 rules

Any head protection which does not adhere to the drivers' head are pointless. Just ask the helmet manufactures to invent a more rigid helmet regardless of what technology or manufacture process. (they can consider Lamborghini's lighter-yet-stronger forged carbon fiber concept which protects the head even better) A more rigid HANS and helmet should do a better job.
