PLEASE write in the comment box that you are a resident of Santa Fe, NM - so that your signature will be valid. Thanks!

This proposed truck stop near Allsups at the intersection of Rancho Viejo and State Rd. 14 will have space for 70 trucks, two fast food joints and showers. It will drain our water table, bring in pollution, noise and crime. This will be a major blight on this entire residential area and lower property values. Please sign this petition only once. Thank you.

I am spending my time gathering evidence on how this truck stop will drain our local water table and increase noise pollution. Call Jose Larranaga at the county office today to demand he put your opposition on the public record. The momentum behind this effort is undeniable and the county is noticing our presence. Email Jose Larranaga right now to ensure your opposition is part of the formal public record. Text three neighbors to tell them why this truck stop threatens our water access.

70 trucks with their engines running all night. 24 hours, 365 days a year. Noise, stench, oil-stained asphalt. What's not to like? Why does the County have Highway 14 in its sights as a place to sacrifice?

I live in Aldea (Santa Fe address) just outside the City limits. I oppose this truck stop not only for aesthetic reasons but because of the excessive water use it will entail and the emissions from all the idling engines, both of which would adversely affect us in the entire area.

I am a resident and native of Santa Fe. A truck stop here would forever mar the beautiful entry into Santa Fe and completely change the breath-taking drive and first impressions of our landscape. I am completely opposed to this truck stop!

I reside in Santa Fe, NM, the Rancho Viejo Community. I did not purchase my property so that I could smell diesel fumes and dodge semis 24/7. Stop this travesty to one of the most beautiful places in the United States

As a resident of Ranchk viejo I am against the Truck Stop. On reason I moved to Santa Fe was for the clean air, the beautiful night sky and quiet beauty of the ranch. This will all be destroyed with the addition of this truck stop. Sincerely, Lauren Stroschin

I oppose this development at the gateway to the Turquoise Trail and Santa Fe. This is now a residential area that's not suited to this type of service area. However, I appreciate the need for dedicated spaces for truckers to rest safely. Could the former shopping center between SF and ABQ provide a pre-existing infrastructure?

I am a resident in Santa Fe county, off HWY 14. My family recently returned from our spring break trip, visiting multiple truck stops en route to Michigan. I was grateful for their location off the interstate but found it ironic that it was often paired with an adult store, perhaps no coincident. I found them often to be full of flying water bottles and colorful wrappers. The smell of petrol was intense and disgusting. Please spare me my daily drive into town from further encroachment of commercialization, that's why I chose to live off of CR 44 in the first place. Thank you.
